If anyone who loves art you will understand what I mean by this; God the Father is the image. He commissioned the art. God the Son posed for the art; Christ reflects that image (Jesus said if you seen me you have seen the Father) God the Holy Spirit is the one who paints the art. And our lives are the canvas on which the Holy Spirit paints that art, the image of Jesus reflected on you.

God given missions are not man-made. It is a call which only comes from God, be it a vocation of a priest, nun, layperson etc. When God sends a person on a mission, he also is the one who opens doors and helps them along the way. There are also parents today inspired by their commitment to their mission given by the Lord who sacrifice all the comforts and luxuries to bring up their children in a godly way leaving behind all their worldly goals to pursue the Kingdom of God. The question of Jesus echoes in their hearts “Do you love me more than these?. Their response moulds their lives in absolute surrender of love.

We want to welcome our Special Ops Moms to The Friendship Project.
In the introduction to Divine Mercy for Moms, Fr. Michael Gaitley MIC wrote:

“…And how important are mothers? Well, I believe that in this time of mercy, God wants to use them to save the world…”

We have been so blessed to have over a 1,000 moms like you as part of the Special Ops team, sharing the Lord’s mercy on a daily basis with your family, your parish, and your friends.

Emily and I have realized that working together, spreading the message of God’s mercy, is a gift from God that we are overwhelmed with gratitude for on a daily basis. We are grateful for the gift of our friendship and our friendships with other faith-filled women. From our gratitude, and with the saints as role models, came The Friendship Project: The Catholic Women’s Guide to Making and Keeping Fabulous Faith-Filled Friends.

We invite you to continue your women’s group, or to start a new one, sharing the virtues of friendship. We created the book and accompanying study guide to help you facilitate a Friendship Project group.
